How to prepare Rice water

Take rice in a container. Clean the rice with water. Add clean water and cover the rice and let it sit in room temperature for 24 hours. After 24 hours strain the rice water and store it in the fridge. Use it whenever needed. You can use it for one week. You can use it as rice cubes or keep it in the spray bottle for face mist and hair spray.

How to use it for hair

Wash your hair with shampoo and rinse it.

Now spray the rice water and leave on for 10-15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, rinse it with lukewarm water.

You can add lavender essential oil in the rice water before spraying to get a pleasant aroma for the hair.

Rice water for Skin:

Rice water acts as an astringent that helps to tighten the skin and minimises the pores, keeping the skin smooth and bright. It helps to heal acne and cools the redness of an outbreak. It contains many vitamins and minerals that helps to revitalise the skin. As rice water has cooling effects, it reduces the sunburn and burnt skin. It is the best remedy for rashes and other irritated skin.

How to use it for Skin:

Mix 2 teaspoon of rice powder with rice water in a bowl. Make a paste and apply it on the face. Let it dry for 15 minutes and wash it. It will help to reduce tan and leaving it soft, smooth and radiant.

Mix 2 teaspoon of rice water with coffee powder in a bowl. Make a paste and apply it on the underarm. Let it dry for 15 minutes and wash it. It will help to whiten armpits.

Put rice water and cucumber juice into the ice tray and freeze it. Apply these ice cubes onto the face as a toner. This will help to keep the skin glowing, hydrated and reduces the sunburn.
